Off-site Activities

Peak District became UK’s first national park and for a good reason. The first thing we would recommend after settling into our exclusive use venue for 30 is taking a short, 15-minute walk to the Roaches Rocks. From here, you’ll have a spectacular view of the Peak District including the Tittesworth Reservoir Activity Centre  which is just a 12-minute ride from the house and offers a number of water activities including kayaking, canoeing, paddle-boarding, sailing, windsurfing etc.

A 10-minute drive away from Roaches Hall is also a fantastic Activity Centre called Madrenalin. Here you and your group can also do Archery, Axe Throwing, Harness Spehering, Sky Bow, and more.  HDK Events activity centre also offers similar activities plus motorsports.

If you’re taking the Leek to Buxton road, keep your eyes out for the Winking Man on the left. Take a walk around Lud’s Church or Kinver Edge which will make you feel you’re in one of the Lord of the Rings movies or take a 3-mile circular walking path on Mam Tor, a mountain tracing back to the Bronze Age.
